Get Photos fast from your camera or any photo storage device such as scanners, USB mass storage devices, and CDs. The ACDSee Device Detector pops up automatically to help you get your photos from your camera. You can even set up a profile which remembers things like how you want to name your photos and where you want to store them so you don’t have to enter this information again.

ACDSee Quick View mode allows you to see your photos onscreen instantly – whether you’re opening an image attachment to an email, or double-clicking on a JPEG from Windows Explorer. You can also flip through your photos fast, zoom in & zoom out, and even display your pictures in full screen for full dramatic effect.

ACDSee Showroom brings your photo memories right onto the desktop. Set a folder path to your favorite shots, then sit back and watch. A sleek movable window appears that displays your photos in sequence. Each Showroom has numerous customization controls, including: 3 sizes (small, medium, large) and 5 styles (black, green, grey, transparent, wood), opacity from 0–100%, transitions (fade, slide, none) and duration from 1 second to 15 minutes.

The Quick Search bar helps you find the shots you took on your annual summer vacation, or your landscape hobby shots, by simply typing a keyword into the Quick Search bar. ACDSee instantly returns matches for that word in image captions, author information, and notes.

Select the folder you want to view and then breeze through the thumbnail previews. Drop your shots into special favorite folders, find duplicates of your pictures, and generate complete file listings for easy perusal. You can also resize any image according to your exact needs or instantly view it full-size.
